Real-time command loop
The Core Control Daemon translates signed control intents from the network into deterministic actuator commands with sub-15ms loop times, keeping every robot responsive to fleet-level authority.
The Robot Control Layer architecture is a robot control software and middleware stack that unifies real-time command, telemetry monitoring and predictive maintenance for autonomous robotic fleets. It is organized as five cooperating layers: a Core Control Daemon that runs on each robot and translates signed control intents into actuator commands with sub-15ms deterministic loop times; an Edge Relay Mesh of self-healing relay nodes that collapse latency to the edge and keep fleets operational when cloud links degrade; a Predictive Maintenance Engine whose fleet-wide failure models schedule service before breakdowns; an Authority & Governance layer that mints control rights as programmable, revocable permissions for operators, owners and auditors; and a DIMO Settlement Rail that settles every telemetry batch, maintenance claim and control transfer as a verifiable, hash-chained transaction.
The control loop runs in six stages — sense, sign, settle, reason, command, maintain. Multi-modal sensor fusion streams raw state into the edge relay at 1000Hz; each telemetry frame is cryptographically signed by the robot's hardware key; frames batch into DIMO transactions for provable, ordered, immutable state; predictive models and policy engines evaluate fleet state in real time; signed control intents return to actuators with sub-15ms deterministic latency; and wear signatures trigger autonomous maintenance jobs that are logged on-chain.
Because telemetry is signed in a secure enclave at the edge and hash-chained to its origin device, any data point can be replayed back to the machine that produced it. Fleet observability is therefore not only real-time but verifiable end-to-end — no synthetic data, no spoofing, no off-chain gossip. This makes Robot Control Layer suitable for safety- and audit-sensitive deployments where proof of provenance matters as much as low latency.

A unified control surface fuses position, power, thermal and health telemetry into a live fleet state, surfacing anomalies against fleet baselines before they become incidents.
Telemetry is signed in a secure enclave at the edge and hash-chained to its origin device, so any data point can be replayed back to the machine and signing key that produced it.
A fleet-wide failure model scores remaining useful life per component and mints its own service jobs, reserving parts and locking maintenance windows without a human in the loop.
Completed service is attested by signed telemetry and settles as a DIMO invoice payable in DIMO, with the full diagnosis, parts and labor record immutably logged.
Control rights are minted as programmable, revocable permissions, giving operators, owners and auditors cryptographically scoped authority over the fleet.
Self-healing relay nodes collapse latency to the edge and preserve local consensus, keeping fleets operational even when cloud connectivity degrades.
